Job summary

FEPA Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Purchaser to join its growing manufacturing team in Malaysia. The role focuses on daily purchasing activities, supplier sourcing, negotiation, and coordination with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Quality and Finance.

You will maintain records in the ERP, chase urgent orders, monitor lead times, and support cost-saving initiatives. Diploma/degree and 1–3 years' experience in manufacturing purchasing are preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication, negotiation, and supplier coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• ERP/purchasing system experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in Purchasing and Supply Chain are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing activities, including quotation, sourcing, PO issuance, and supplier follow-up.
• Source and compare suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery lead time.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure materials are delivered on time to support production.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance.
• Follow up on urgent orders, delivery delays, and material shortages.
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and update the ERP system.
• Support cost-saving and purchasing improvement initiatives.
