Job summary

I Stay Management Sdn Bhd, part of the AME Group of Companies, is seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage procurement of hardware, maintenance supplies and related materials for dormitory operations. You will source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, including China-based suppliers, to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement or a related role.
• Basic proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCount accounting/inventory software is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of hardware, maintenance supplies and related materials for the Maintenance team.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and contractors, including China-based suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality before making purchases.
• Coordinate and negotiate service contracts with service providers for dormitory operations.
• Prepare and submit complete procurement documentation for all purchases to Accounts for payment.
• Travel to company offices/dormitories within Kulai, Senai and Gelang Patah areas as required.
