Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Executive in Malaysia to research and source suppliers for required goods and services, negotiate terms, and issue purchase orders. The role involves developing supplier relationships and ensuring timely procurement to support production and operations.

You will collaborate with finance, operations and production teams to understand requirements and address any supply chain delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience; fresh graduates may apply.
• Experience with vendor management, PO processing and inventory control is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Researching and sourcing suppliers for required goods and services.
• Negotiating prices, terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers.
• Issuing purchase orders and tracking their status.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential suppliers.
• Evaluating supplier performance based on quality, price, and delivery time.
• Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Collaborating with finance, operations and production to meet procurement needs.
• Addressing procurement-related issues or delays in the supply chain.
