Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management in manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control systems.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with ability to build supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, negotiating terms and conditions for competitive pricing and quality standards.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to forecast procurement needs and prevent stockouts.
• Track shipments and manage delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrival and optimal condition.
• Maintain records of purchases, invoices, and supplier communications for audit and reporting purposes.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues, manage returns, and ensure quality compliance of delivered goods.
• Analyse spends data and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Support development and maintenance of supplier relationships to ensure ongoing reliability and performance.
• Assist in the implementation of procurement systems and tools to streamline purchasing workflows.
