Job summary

ELLAsIQ (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Purchaser to negotiate with suppliers, source materials, and manage purchase orders and inventories. You will coordinate with shipping agencies to ensure timely deliveries and oversee payments and records.

Role requires a Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field and at least 2 years of purchasing experience, with strong negotiation, data analysis, and communication skills. ERP systems and Excel proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field required.
• 2 years of relevant purchasing experience.
• Strong negotiation, data analysis, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers and sellers of assorted products and services
• Source suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses
• Work with internal departments to ensure purchase orders and requisitions are organized to order materials, goods and supplies
• Coordinate with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services
• Authorize payments and manage purchasing expenses with meticulous record-keeping
• Ensure that invoices are sent to accounts for payment
• Oversee and manage inventory, ensuring efficient and accurate product purchases
• Coordinate with transportation and logistics personnel to ensure timely deliveries and shipments
• Analyse shipment logs and review timeliness of scheduled deliveries
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers
