Job summary

CHOP LEE CHEONG HARDWARE AND MATERIALS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Purchasing Officer to source and evaluate suppliers, oversee procurement processes, and support supply chain activities.

You will work closely with internal teams to meet customer needs and company goals. Candidates should have 3–5 years in procurement, preferably in building materials or hardware, with strong negotiation, data analysis, and proficiency in Autocount and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience; building materials or hardware industry preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to coordinate with suppliers.
• Proficient with Autocount Software and Microsoft Office; data analysis skills.
• Basic English communication for dealing with foreign suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate new domestic and international suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts to ensure price, delivery, and quality meet standards.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with policies and laws.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and manage issues.
• Coordinate between sales, QA, warehousing, and logistics to execute plans.
