Job summary

Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad is seeking a motivated Purchasing Executive to support procurement for construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will source materials, obtain quotations, negotiate with suppliers, process orders, coordinate delivery, and ensure timely procurement aligned with project operations and ESG standards.

The role involves working with sites, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining quality and compliance with SOPs and ISO requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Handle all construction site purchasing duties.
• Request quotations, process order confirmations, expedite orders, and coordinate delivery arrangements.
• Assist Accounts Payable in resolving payment-related matters.
• Source and manage suppliers for competitive pricing and service standards.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate performance.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and procurement savings.
• Review and revise purchasing procedures and documentation.
• Prepare material budgets and procurement forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO requirements and ESG standards.
