Job summary

Demco Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Executive in Kapar to coordinate daily purchasing activities and support administrative tasks. You will source quotations, negotiate terms with local and international suppliers, and ensure timely procurement aligned with company SOPs.

You will monitor order status, coordinate with relevant departments, and maintain purchasing records while supporting import/export shipments and stock checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure accurate, efficient operations in line with company SOPs
• Source, compare and evaluate quotations from local and overseas suppliers; negotiate prices and terms
• Communicate with suppliers on pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and order status
• Review and update purchasing SOPs to stay aligned with company practices
• Provide weekly progress reports on outstanding POs, deliveries, and issues to management
• Monitor stock levels, DO/GRN, and purchase invoices; handle discrepancies and claims
• Monitor vehicle-related renewals and compliance documentation as required
• Maintain orderly filing of purchasing records for audit and reference
