Job summary

Aconland Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchaser to manage end-to-end procurement for air-conditioning, refrigerating parts, and related equipment. You will source suppliers, compare quotes, negotiate terms, and issue PO's to ensure cost efficiency and timely deliveries.

The role requires coordination with Warehouse, Sales, and Accounts, with emphasis on stock optimization and supplier performance. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to source suppliers and manage procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms.
• Experience in inventory planning and stock management.
• Ability to evaluate supplier performance and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify suitable suppliers for air-conditioning products, spare parts, materials, and other company requirements.
• Compare quotations, prices, product specifications, payment terms, and delivery lead times from different suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, better payment terms, and favourable delivery arrangements.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, Accounts, and other departments regarding purchasing and stock requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and arrange purchases based on stock requirements and demand.
• Maintain and update supplier information, price lists, product details, and purchasing records.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, delivery, and service.
• Handle supplier enquiries, delivery issues, product shortages, damaged goods, and other purchasing-related matters.
