Job summary

SHENLY MARKETING SDN BHD in Shah Alam is seeking a Purchasing Executive to join our procurement team. This full-time role focuses on sourcing, procuring, and managing inventory to support our manufacturing and logistics operations.

You will collaborate with suppliers, prepare orders, monitor stock levels, and analyse spend to identify cost-saving opportunities. Mandarin communication is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement.
• 2–3 years of purchasing/procurement or inventory management experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Mandarin speaking and writing proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiating terms for price and quality.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to forecast needs.
• Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery and suitable conditions.
• Maintain records of purchases, invoices, and supplier communications.
• Resolve supplier issues and manage returns and quality compliance.
• Analyse spend data to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Support development of supplier relationships and procurement systems.
