Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru is seeking a Project Planning Manager to lead planning activities across our property development portfolio. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards, collaborating with senior management, contractors, and stakeholders.

The role requires at least 5 years in project planning/management in property development, strong scheduling and cost control skills, and a diploma in civil engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• 5 years of project planning/PM experience in property development.
• Expertise in scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Knowledge of construction processes and building regulations in Malaysia.
• Strong organizational/analytical skills; can manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Minimum diploma in civil engineering, architectural or similar.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property development project feasibility studies and investment reviews.
• Monitor progress against baselines; identify variances; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and construction teams for delivery.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation (plans, reports, risk assessments, procurement schedules).
• Conduct resource planning and allocation to optimise productivity.
• Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and contractors for approvals.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for senior management.
• Support tender processes and contractor selection.
