Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced project planner to manage and coordinate the overall planning of property development projects in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will work with consultants and internal teams on concepts, layouts, and development requirements, and track progress against schedules.

You will coordinate submissions with authorities, review drawings, and assist in evaluating new development opportunities while ensuring compliance with approved plans and requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in property project planning or a related field.
• Familiar with the overall property development process.
• Able to handle several projects and priorities concurrently.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the overall planning of property development projects.
• Work with consultants and internal teams on project concepts, layouts, designs and development requirements.
• Coordinate submissions and follow up on approvals with relevant authorities.
• Review project drawings based on development requirements.
• Track project schedules and overall progress.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal departments to resolve project-related matters.
• Assist Management in evaluating new development opportunities, including preliminary feasibility, cost and development considerations.
• Support in preparation and coordination of new project launches.
• Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with approved plans and relevant requirements.
