Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a leading property developer in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will lead large township developments from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence and top quality.

This is a full-time, on-site role within the construction division. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering/Construction Management, 8–10 years of PM experience, and PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification, with strong leadership and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline
• Minimum 8-10 years of project management experience in construction or construction consultation, with at least 5 years managing large-scale township or residential development projects
• Professional qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and regulatory requirements in Malaysia
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, financial forecasting and cost control
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D
• Good understanding of building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordinate with stakeholders, develop schedules and risk strategies.
• Manage execution, budget, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and legal standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical, financial, and safety risks.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate teams and contractors.
• Maintain records and provide updates.
• Handle client relations and expectations.
• Monitor daily site activities.
• Manage inspections, handover, and documentation.
