Job summary

MB World Group Berhad is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-rise developments in Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu. You will oversee design to completion, coordinating design teams, authorities, and contractors.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on PM experience, a diploma/degree in construction-related field, and strong planning, budgeting, and leadership capabilities to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in high-rise building projects as Project Manager.
• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building/Project Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, project management, contract administration, and site coordination.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Plan, coordinate, and manage high-rise development projects from design development, authority submission, construction, to project completion.
• Schedule & Budget Management: Develop and monitor project schedules, cost plans, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines and financial targets.
• Consultant & Contractor Coordination: Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution and compliance with project specifications.
• Contract & Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, local authority requirements, building regulations, and safety standards.
• Project Monitoring & Reporting: Track construction progress, review contractor performance, and prepare regular project updates and reports for management.
• Quality & Safety Control: Ensure construction works meet required quality standards while maintaining strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and coordination to project team members to ensure effective project delivery.

Strong leadership and coordination skills.
