Job summary

Schneider Electric in Malaysia is seeking a Project Controller to drive accurate, timely reporting of project KPIs and financial performance across the Execution Center. You will partner with Tender and Execution teams, ensure IFRS compliance, and apply REL, KPI, and risk management practices.

You will coach a regional team, harmonize data in the Solutions Database, and support management with insights to improve margins and cash.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent (engineering, economics or business focus).
Fluent in English; Mandarin advanced is a plus.
5 years of experience in Finance & Control or project environment.
Experience as Finance Business Partner in project environment.
Strong communication, analytical and leadership capabilities; global exposure a plus.
Digital skills such as RPA are a plus.

Responsibilities

Liaise with Corporate, Finance & Control functions to track financial performance of project execution.
Support and challenge Project Manager on revenue recognition, margin, cash, tax, and related finance activities.
Assist tender leaders to assess financial aspects for new opportunities and capture lessons learned.
Coordinate with Execution Controller to ensure alignment with Global governance (REL, KPIs, Contracts).
Provide Execution Center leader with financial performance data (margin, cash, REL).
Ensure data loaded in Solution Database and develop KPIs to monitor execution performance.
