Job summary

Henkel in Malaysia is seeking a senior Financial Controller to lead financial planning, performance monitoring, business partnering and governance. The role focuses on coordinating statements, budgets and analysis reports, while driving KPI analyses and continuous improvement across finance processes.

The candidate should have a degree in accounting/finance, 5–8 years of controller experience, SAP knowledge, and strong business acumen.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience with a track record as a controller.
• CPA/CMA/ACCA certification is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
• Understanding of Accounting and Tax principles.
• Strong business acumen and team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manages/Coordinates financial statements, business performance tracking reports, annual budgets and analysis reports.
• Tracks KPIs and provides in-depth analysis, gives suggestion for the areas to be improved.
• Drives and supports the business by assisting business leaders to take best informed decisions.
• Communicates and presents pro-actively controlling topics to business stakeholders.
• Provides independent & objective information to ensure a systematic control and strict monitoring of planned objectives.
• Ensures compliance/governance ensuring the correct application of internal and external guidelines in terms of Finance Reporting.
• Spreads financial controlling knowledge and consciousness across the company.
• Drives continuous improvement in controlling relevant concepts, processes and tools.
• Project management.
