Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Planning Executive to develop and maintain detailed lot schedules in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

The role requires coordinating with Engineering, Production, and Procurement to align timelines and material readiness, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation. You're expected to monitor daily progress, address delays, and present regular updates to management and customers.

Qualifications

• Possesses a Diploma and bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operational Research, Engineering, or any related discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor planning; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Mandarin speaking is needed to handle Chinese-based customers.
• Skilled in using Excel, ERP or any planner system.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Solid understanding of production workflows and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed lot schedules to support production planning and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Procurement to align schedules, material readiness, and technical requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure departmental alignment.
• Monitor day-to-day production progress and implement corrective actions to protect timelines.
• Ensure BOMs, work instructions, and supporting records are accurate and compliant with internal standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports to management and customers with clear status, milestones, and delivery commitments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements.
