Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Manufacturing Operation Planner (S-site, Jelapang) to develop, manage and maintain detailed lot schedules supporting on‑time production delivery.

Collaboration with Engineering, Production and Procurement ensures material readiness and adherence to technical requirements. The role requires a Diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related fields, 1–2 years in semiconductor planning (fresh graduates welcome), and Mandarin for handling Chinese customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma and bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operational Research, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years semiconductor planning experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Mandarin speaking is needed to handle Chinese customers.
• Proficient in Excel, ERP or any planner system.
• Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of production workflows and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain detailed lot schedules to support production planning and on‑time delivery of orders.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production and Procurement to align schedules, material readiness and technical requirements.
• Facilitate cross‑functional communication to resolve issues and ensure departmental alignment.
• Monitor day‑to‑day production progress and identify delays or constraints, implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure BOMs, work instructions and records are accurate, current and compliant with internal standards.
• Track production performance against plan and highlight risks, issues and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and customers with visibility on status and milestones.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements.
