Job summary

Celestica Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented production planning professional to manage scheduling and material planning for designated product lines in a semiconductor environment. You will align customer demand with manufacturing capacity and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in production planning, a related Bachelor’s degree, and strong MRP/ERP experience.

Qualifications

6 to 8 years of relevant experience in production planning in fast-paced semiconductor or capital equipment environments.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of MRP, production scheduling and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Create production schedules and input MPS/MRP data based on forecasts.
Align customer orders with schedules and coordinate releases and material setup.
Manage system parameters and generate standard reports for assigned products.
Identify shortages and coordinate substitutions or expeditious material actions.
Monitor shipments and escalate potential delays to the Lead Planner.
