Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Planner / Scheduler to develop and maintain production schedules that meet on-time delivery while optimizing capacity, inventory, labor, and material availability.

You will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement to balance demand and supply, monitor progress, adjust plans for bottlenecks, and support continuous improvement in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or management field.
• 3–5 years in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/MES or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability and recovery plans.
• Analyze capacity, optimize line loading, and address bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to balance demand and capacity.
