Job summary

Agilent Technologies, Inc. in Malaysia (Penang) is hiring a Production Planner / Scheduler to develop and maintain production schedules ensuring on-time delivery while optimizing capacity, inventory, and labor.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Procurement to balance demand and supply. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Industrial/Manufacturing/SC/Operations Management and 3–5 years in production planning with hands-on ERP/MRP (SAP/MES).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing preferred and ERP/MRP systems such as SAP/MES or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand, forecast, and capacity.
• Coordinate with supply planner to translate build plans into executable manufacturing plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules for capacity constraints, material shortages, or changes in priorities.
• Ensure balanced utilization across manufacturing work centers.
