in Penang seeks a seasoned Supply Chain Planner to coordinate end-to-end production planning, align materials and capacity with demand, and interface with Marketing, Sales, Production, R&D, Finance, Materials, Logistics, and contract manufacturers. You will optimize inventory, monitor delivery risks, support NPI and product transfers, and drive improvements across planning processes using ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, production planning, material planning, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in electronics/semiconductor manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute production and supply planning activities based on customer demand, forecast, backlog, material availability, and production capacity.
• Monitor customer orders and delivery requirements to ensure on-time delivery and meet revenue objectives.
• Review demand and supply conditions to identify potential material shortages and capacity constraints.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Production, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Contract Manufacturers to resolve supply constraints.
• Manage finished goods, work-in-progress, and material inventory balancing service levels and targets.
• Drive planning actions such as production pull/push and material prioritization based on changing needs.
• Support NPI, product transfer, outsourcing, and lifecycle activities ensuring material readiness.
• Perform data analysis and provide visibility of supply-demand gaps and delivery risks.
• Participate in continuous improvement, Lean, digitalization, and planning transformation initiatives.
• Ensure planning activities comply with business processes and ERP systems.
• Provide timely escalation and recommendations to management on critical supply chain issues.
• Support ad hoc supply chain projects based on evolving requirements.
