Job summary

Deleum Berhad, through its subsidiaries, seeks a procurement professional to collate quotations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials. You will support the Assistant Manager/Manager with RFQs, vendor directories, and compliance tasks.

The role requires at least two years of relevant experience, solid procurement knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years relevant working experience; fresh graduates with good credentials encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of procurement terms, conditions, practices & procedures.
• Mature, efficient, independent, high integrity and able to work under pressure.
• Analytical, a good team player and able to communicate well with people at all levels.
• Self-starter; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collate and review quotations and develop reliable sources for current and future needs.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure 3rd party purchasing follows policies and procedures.
• Assist the Manager in procurement admin tasks (RFQ follow-up, filings, scans, vendor/service directory updates).
• Support vendor selection and monitor performance, responsiveness and flexibility.
• Review purchasing documents to ensure clarity and completeness of specifications.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure timely delivery of 3rd party materials and provide procurement support.
• Involve in vendor audits/evaluations and provide feedback on quality and production issues.
• Manage vendors’ database for present and future needs.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and comply with COBC and ABMS.
