Monroe Consulting Group is partnering with a leading industrial organisation to hire a Procurement Manager for the Klang, Selangor area. You will lead the procurement function across metal, non-metal and import logistics, driving cost-effective supply, supplier performance and risk mitigation to support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business/ops/logistics required.
• Minimum 10 years in procurement or related field.
• 5 years managerial experience preferred.
• Experience with metal and import logistics is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities across Metal, Non Metal and Import Logistics.
• Develop strategies on commodities and non-commodities procurement aligned with objectives.
• Minimise risk exposure in supply and service contracts and maximise opportunities in operations.
• Ensure goods and services are supplied on time via acceptable terms and conditions.
• Lead and develop high-performing purchasing teams to achieve objectives.
• Ensure purchases are managed via best practices per policies and stakeholder interests.
• Oversee development of procurement and logistics processes for efficient delivery.
• Identify potential suppliers, conduct vendor interviews, negotiate agreements and manage contracts.
• Set departmental objectives and assess performance against KPIs.
• Provide reports on target achievements and recommend actions.
