Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Procurement Executive in Penang, Malaysia to manage end-to-end purchasing for metal fabrication and machinery needs. You will issue POs, source suppliers, negotiate terms, and track orders while coordinating with finance, production and warehouse teams.

The role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and extended hours, including weekends, and a proactive, responsible attitude across all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in purchasing/inventory/material management in automation or related industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and extended hours, including weekends.
• Positive attitude, responsible, proactive, and able to communicate across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders and follow up with vendors on delivery timelines (ETD).
• Source and negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and services.
• Track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies or quality issues.
• Prepare purchasing reports and monitor order status.
• Manage RMAs and ensure vendors provide root cause and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with finance, production, and warehouse teams on purchasing needs.
• Participate in supplier audits to ensure quality and compliance.
• Improve procurement processes for cost efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
