Job summary

Premium Vegetable Oils is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the end-to-end procurement function in Pasir Gudang. The role encompasses managing purchasing activities, developing sourcing strategies and strengthening supplier capabilities to support our manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting, and proven ability to drive cost savings and governance across procurement

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement/purchasing experience.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement function and purchasing team.
• Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies.
• Lead supplier sourcing, evaluations, quotations and tendering.
• Drive commercial negotiations including pricing, terms and contracts.
• Deliver cost optimization and value-creation through strategic sourcing.
• Build a strong supplier base while managing procurement risks.
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery and service.
