Job summary

A leading technology firm in Malaysia seeks a Procurement Engineer for Contract Manufacturing to manage procurement activities and supplier relations. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 3–5 years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of mechanical drawings. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience in precision machining or build-to-print manufacturing.
• Strong technical understanding of machining/metal fabrication processes.
• Experience in supplier localization and onboarding of vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for mechanical parts and commercial items.
• Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
