Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar purchasing/procurement managerial role within the manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with SIRIM audits and certification processes is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of raw materials and trading products.
• Lead and guide the purchasing team in executing the procurement plan.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for prices and delivery schedules.
• Plan and coordinate logistics for imported materials; liaise with forwarding agents.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely delivery to avoid production downtime.
• Evaluate supplier performance in pricing and material quality.
