Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive new business acquisition across Legal, Corporate, Government, and Academic sectors, focusing on whitespace opportunities and technology to support the Rule of Law.

Partner with marketing, product, and client success teams to craft tailored pitches, manage a high-volume outreach, and build a robust pipeline using Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, preferably in legal tech or professional services.
• Ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline across multiple sectors.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; adept at client needs assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet targets in legal, corporate, government, and academic sectors.
• Drive new business and expand the client base through high-volume outreach and outbound prospecting.
• Cultivate and manage a pipeline from initial contact to close, including forecasting and reporting.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and tailor LexisNexis solutions to client needs.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to maximize cross-functional support.
