Job summary

The Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) in Malaysia seeks an accomplished leader to steer the Future Skills Framework (FSF) and related workforce transformation initiatives. You will shape strategy, governance, and stakeholder engagement across regulators, banks and professional bodies to advance industry readiness and talent development.

Qualifications

Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in financial services, professional services, education, talent development, workforce transformation or related sectors.
At least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
Experience managing industry-wide initiatives, transformation programmes or strategic portfolios.
Experience engaging senior stakeholders including regulators, board members, CEOs and C‑suite.
Experience in budget management, governance oversight and organisational planning.
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for FSF ecosystem alignment with industry needs.
Lead governance frameworks, risk management and performance monitoring across all services.
Stakeholder engagement with regulators, financial institutions and industry leaders.
Oversee product and service portfolio growth and adoption.
Drive workforce intelligence, insights and evidence-based decision-making.
Ensure financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation.
Lead and develop the FSF team and organisational capability.
