Job summary

Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a seasoned Key Account Manager to drive sales across key retail accounts. You will build strong dealer relationships, negotiate plans, and manage promotions and pricing while ensuring profitability and smooth cross-functional execution.

The role requires 5–8 years in KAM or sales within consumer electronics or FMCG, with strong negotiation and analytical skills, and willingness to travel extensively in the Northern region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets for key accounts.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop assigned key retail accounts in Penang.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Build relationships with dealers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
• Negotiate annual business plans, promotions, pricing, and contracts.
• Monitor sell-in/sell-out, inventory, and product mix.
• Execute new product launches, in-store branding, merchandising, and campaigns.
• Conduct regular business reviews to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with HQ to ensure smooth execution and timely payments.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and demand planning.
• Expand distribution coverage and identify new opportunities in Penang.
