Job summary

Taishin Group Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to handle import shipments and coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams. The role focuses on ensuring compliance, accurate documentation and smooth cargo movement.

You will liaise with forwarding and customs agents, manage shipment schedules, and maintain records while supporting warehouse and management in day-to-day logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Good command in Mandarin language is an advantage
• Preferably with experience in import, freight forwarding, customs clearance or logistics coordination.
• Able to communicate effectively with suppliers, forwarding agents, warehouse teams and internal departments.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and email correspondence.
• Able to work independently and follow up closely on outstanding matters.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import shipments with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics partners.
• Liaise with forwarding agents and customs agents on customs clearance, permits, duties and related import requirements.
• Coordinate with logistics providers on shipment schedules, documentation and cargo movement.
• Coordinate with warehouse team on incoming shipment schedules, unloading and receiving arrangements.
• Check and maintain import and shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, Bill of Lading / Air Waybill and other relevant documents.
• Follow up closely on shipment delays, customs issues, missing documents or other logistics matters.
• Ensure all import activities comply with Company procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper records of shipment documents, freight charges and import-related information.
• Communicate shipment updates and any potential delays to relevant internal departments.
• Assist in checking freight, forwarding, customs and logistics charges when required.
• Perform other logistics and supply chain related duties assigned by Management.
