Job summary

Din Tai Fung Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all HR operations across 20 restaurant outlets and the Balakong office, supporting around 900 staff while ensuring compliance with local labor laws. Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in F&B/retail/hospitality
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labor laws (Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act) and immigration procedures
• Strong leadership with experience managing an HR team across multiple sites
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-spectrum HR functions across 20 restaurant outlets and Balakong office
• Recruitment, payroll, performance management, compensation & benefits, IR
• Manage foreign worker recruitment and work permit processing
• Oversee hostel management and welfare regulations compliance
• Advise management on HR best practices and statutory compliance
• Liaise with government authorities (labour, immigration)
• Lead and manage HR team to achieve departmental goals
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations
• Drive employee engagement and inclusive culture across all outlets
