The HR Manager will drive policies, recruitment, payroll, and employee relations, partnering with senior management to support business objectives and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional HR management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and labour regulations.
• Experience in recruitment, talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office.
• Payroll administration and benefits management knowledge.
• Independent work with senior management collaboration.
• Professional qualification in HRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with company objectives and statutory requirements.
• Oversee the full recruitment and selection process, including job advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
• Manage employee relations, including handling disciplinary matters, grievances, and performance management in a fair and consistent manner.
• Administer payroll, benefits and compensation programmes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Provide guidance and support to line managers on HR matters, employment law, and best practices.
• Design and deliver training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career progression.
• Maintain and update HR records and documentation in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives, team building activities, and internal communication strategies.
• Monitor workplace health, safety, and welfare standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including recruitment agencies, training providers, and employment law advisors.
