Job summary

Olympus Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to manage local HR operations, HRIS transactions, and frontline support for managers.

You will partner with HR Operations and HRBPs to ensure compliance with labor laws, run workforce planning, and support talent development and succession.

This role requires 3–5 years of HR experience, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to navigate a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an HR generalist, HR advisor, or HR operations role.
• Experience working with HRIS systems and managing employee data and transactions.
• Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes and HR operations.
• Exposure to workforce planning, recruitment, and employee relations support.
• Experience working in a matrixed or multinational organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior HR generalist to manage operational HR tasks, HRIS transactions, and frontline support for managers.
• Serve as first contact for leadership and ensure compliance with labor law and local regulations.
• Ensure data quality in HRIS and support 360° manager support across applicable processes.
• Support HR strategy, transformation, and HR projects.
• Assist Succession Planning, Talent Development, and data updates in HRIS.
• Oversee HR reporting and analytics including workforce planning and headcount reports.
• Manage compensation, benefits—salary rounds and HRIS approvals.
• Oversee job management, transfers, promotions, and JD changes.
• Drives Talent Acquisition and onboarding locally.
