Job summary

TOA Paint Products SDN BHD is seeking an experienced HR Executive to lead compensation management, payroll processing, and benefits administration in a Malaysia-based role. You will coordinate with Finance and HR teams to ensure accurate payroll, compliant benefits, and timely reporting.

Applicants should have a degree in Management or HR, 3+ years in payroll/compensation or 2+ years HR generalist, and solid knowledge of salary structures, benchmarking, and relevant employment laws.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Management, Human Resource or any relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll/compensation experience or 2 years HR generalist.
• Understanding of the Employment Act 1955, Labour practices, Industrial Act 1967 and related employment laws.
• Strong knowledge of salary structure, benefits, compensation, benchmarking and job evaluation systems.
• Exposure and understanding of Total Rewards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience using HR2000 is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer employee benefits programs, including insurance coverage and medical plans.
• Coordinate payroll processing in collaboration with finance, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.
• Oversee HRIS modules (payroll/benefits) and data integrity; ensure proper integration with HR processes.
• Prepare compensation and benefits reports; provide insights for data-driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Employment Act and labour regulations; support audits and governance.
