Job summary

Bio Harvest Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR & Admin Manager to partner with the Managing Director and senior managers in all aspects of human capital, including recruitment, development, retention, and employee relations. The role involves instilling the company culture, driving leadership across departments, and ensuring compliance with employment and industrial relations laws.

Qualifications

• Academic qualification: bachelor’s degree in HR or administration with good command of Employment Act and Industrial Relations Acts and related regulations.
• Work experience: proven track record of at least 10 years in HR & administration with labour/IR experience.
• Professional conduct: discretion with confidential personnel matters; respectful demeanor.
• Leadership: able to lead across departments; strong teamwork and proactive approach.
• Communication: strong written and verbal communication; English proficiency.
• Growth mindset: proactive with personal growth.
• Computer skills: proficient in Word, Excel; familiarity with cloud systems and calendars.

Responsibilities

• Heads and manages daily operations of HR & Admin department.
• Advises Managing Director on HR and IR laws and regulations; formulates policies.
• Administers employee benefits and compensation.
• Conducts performance appraisal briefings and coordinates appraisals.
• Manages employee relations, counselling, and development of retention strategies.
• Leads manpower planning and recruitment with team members; shortlists candidates.
• Coordinates induction programs for new employees with department heads.
• Plans and implements training and development programs.
• Oversees office administration, security, and IT administration.
