Job summary

EBC Financial Group, a global financial services provider with headquarters in London, seeks an experienced Senior HR Business Partner in Kuala Lumpur to align HR strategy with business goals across regions.

You will lead job grading, salary benchmarking, and performance management (OKR/KPI), while partnering with leaders to drive organizational design and change in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
• 5–8 years HR experience, preferably in HRBP, Compensation & Benefits, or strategic HR roles.
• Hands-on experience in Job Grading / Job Evaluation, Salary Benchmarking, Compensation & Benefits, and OKR/KPI.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise senior leaders.
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities to lead HR initiatives independently.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Experience supporting regional or multi-country HR initiatives is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, performance, engagement and development.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and suggest improvements to organizational performance.
• Support talent acquisition efforts with timely hiring of quality talent.
• Lead job grading and job evaluation projects to ensure a consistent grading framework.
• Collaborate on organization design, career progression, job architecture, and succession planning.
• Support design and review of OKR/KPI and performance management frameworks.
• Manage employee relations issues with investigations and compliance guidance.
• Assist organizational change initiatives including restructures, culture-building and communications.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure aligned delivery of HR programs and coaching for leaders.
