Zohorecruit is representing a fast-growing Malaysia-based venture building an O2O financial ecosystem. We seek a Strategic Partnerships Manager to craft alliances with banks, fintechs, and payment networks, drive go-to-market strategies, and ensure tight operational alignment across teams.

The role reports to the CEO, requires leadership in high-stakes negotiations, and involves travel to expand partnerships across Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years of proven success in business development, partnerships, or commercial strategy within Fintech, Banking, Payments, or Financial Infrastructure.
• Established relationships with Malaysian financial institutions, payment networks, and regulatory bodies.
• Deep understanding of payment systems, digital transformation, or O2O financial ecosystems.
• Sharp commercial acumen paired with operational execution ability.
• Willingness to travel domestically to drive site expansion and partner engagement.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure high-value partnerships with banks, fintechs, e-wallets, and tech vendors.
• Lead go-to-market strategies and commercialization of new ventures from concept to live deployment.
• Bridge commercial goals with IT and operations for seamless integrations and compliant rollouts.
• Advise the CEO on cross-functional initiatives and special projects.
