Zohorecruit is recruiting a Country Manager for Malaysia to lead the local operations of a premier regional digital payments provider. You will own the country strategy, drive revenue growth, and build a high-performing team while forging strategic partnerships with banks, merchants, and networks.

Reporting to regional leadership, you will oversee sales, partnerships, and compliance, ensuring profitable growth and scalable operations across omnichannel gateways and BNPL platforms.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in payments/fintech/banking/e‑commerce.
• Deep knowledge of Malaysia payments ecosystem and enterprise B2B sales cycles.
• Active network with local financial institutions, retailers, and regulators.
• Proven P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management with English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute Malaysia country strategy aligned with regional/global vision.
• Own P&L and drive revenue growth, manage budgets and profitability.
• Identify market opportunities through trend and competitor analysis.
• Lead acquisition of enterprise merchants and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee product line expansion and ensure local regulatory compliance.
