KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Financial Accountant in Malaysia to manage financial records, prepare statements, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves recording transactions, preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows, and assisting in budgeting and forecasts.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting with a professional qualification (ACCA/CA) and 5+ years in finance, accounting, audit, and tax planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; member of MIA (Malaysia).
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit and tax planning.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CA or equivalent.
• Proficiency in accounting software; attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication to interact with colleagues and present financial information.
• Adherence to ethical standards and integrity; leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.

Responsabilités

• Record and classify financial transactions with accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow).
• Assist in budgeting and forecasts, with performance insights.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with tax authorities.
• Collaborate with auditors during audits for transparency and accuracy.
• Analyze data to provide insights into business performance and trends.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations; ensure compliance.
• Communicate financial information to stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
