Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks an experienced Finance Manager/Assistant Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive strategic decision-making through robust reporting and analysis.

You will lead planning, budgeting, and forecasts; manage AP/AR/GL, month- and year-end closes, internal controls, and treasury with cross-functional collaboration; English proficiency is required. Liaisons with auditors and involvement in mergers/major contracts are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA).
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant finance experience, shipping/logistics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure effective resource allocation and financial stability.
• Drive financial analysis, risk assessment, and performance monitoring to support strategic decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee the full set of accounts: AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and financial statements preparation.
