Job summary

MISC Group (MISC Marine) in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Finance professional to lead budgeting, reporting, and ERP optimization. You will partner with operations and ship owners to deliver accurate forecasts and monthly closes.

The role requires 5+ years in finance, ACCA/CPA is preferred, and experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP systems. Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge and Excel proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance with professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW).
• At least 5 years in finance, accounting or shipping-related functions.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP/IFRS reporting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, communication, and presentation of budgets.
• Prepare monthly financial close and management reporting for stakeholders.
• Partner with operations and ship owners on budgeting and cost optimisation.
• Act as subject matter expert for accounting information systems and processes.
