Job summary

Terra Group Holdings, LLC is seeking a seasoned Contract Administration & Compliance professional in Malaysia to lead contract drafting, review and administration across tendering and project execution. You will ensure compliance with PAM, PWD, CIDB forms and Malaysian laws, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

The role covers tender management, cost control, claims, variation orders, risk management and commercial governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in contract management, QS, or commercial roles within the construction industry.
• Proficient in contract drafting, analysis, commercial negotiation, and managing key commercial matters including VO,s, EOTs, progress claims, final accounts, and overall cost and financial analysis.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office, project management tools, and QS-related software (CostX, Glodon, AutoCAD) to support contract administration and project reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
• Demonstrates strong ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality in all contractual and commercial matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review, negotiation and administration of main contracts and subcontracts under Malaysian laws.
• Review tender documents, costs, drawings and negotiate commercial terms.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow and costs to support profitability.
• Oversee progress claims, payments and certifications; verify subcontractor payments.
• Evaluate and negotiate Variation Orders (VOs) and EOT claims; ensure proper documentation.
• Identify contractual/financial risks and coordinate with legal advisers to resolve disputes.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering in procurement and contract management.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities on contract matters.
• Maintain contract records, prepare status updates and audit-compliant reports.
• Support governance, internal controls and process improvements across contracting.
