Job summary

Briswood Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced professional to lead contract administration and commercial management for major property development projects. You will manage tendering, documentation, and post-award administration, while ensuring compliance and timely close-out.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in contract administration and quantity surveying, with knowledge of PAM, FIDIC, CIPAA, and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Law, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in contract administration, commercial management, or quantity surveying within property development, main contracting, or a related construction environment.
• Experience working on major or complex building projects.
• Working knowledge of standard construction contracts including PAM 2006/2018, FIDIC, REDAS, PWD/JKR, or bespoke agreements.
• Knowledge of applicable construction payment and adjudication legislation including CIPAA where relevant.
• Experience preparing tender documentation, Bills of Quantities, contract documents, contractual notices, claims assessments, and formal correspondence.
• Experience reviewing payment applications, valuations, variations, cost reconciliations, forecasts, final accounts, and contract close-outs.
• Professional accreditation such as RISM, RICS, or CIOB is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Procurement and tendering processes for contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Prepare tender packages, Bills of Quantities, and contract documentation.
• Administer post-award contracts and monitor milestones.
• Review interim payments, valuations, and final accounts.
• Evaluate time-related claims and prepare notices and counterclaims.
• Identify risks and coordinate with legal on disputes and resolutions.
• Manage subcontract close-outs and final certificates.
