Job summary

FMT Media Sdn Bhd, based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, seeks a Strategic and Communications Specialist to craft corporate proposals, decks, briefs, and RFP responses. You will research trends, engage stakeholders, and ensure brand voice across materials.

You will collaborate with editorial, business development, and cross-functional teams to deliver clear, compelling messaging on time, while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Media Studies, Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English.
• Strong experience in corporate communications, strategic communications, public relations, or business writing.
• Ability to develop persuasive proposals, presentations, and executive-level communication materials.
• Strong research, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure clarity, accuracy, and quality in communication materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively with editorial, business development, and other cross-functional teams.
• Ability to engage professionally with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate communication workflows, manage revisions, and meet required deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of corporate proposals, partnership decks, stakeholder briefs, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Research media trends, audience insights, competitors, policy developments, and stakeholder expectations.
• Review and edit corporate materials for clarity, accuracy, and brand voice.
• Collaborate with editorial, business development, and cross-functional teams to craft strategic communications.
• Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to tailor messaging while protecting FMT's reputation.
• Oversee preparation and timely delivery of communications to high standards.
• Coordinate workflows, manage revisions, and meet deadlines.
