Job summary

Businesslist in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Corporate Communications Manager to support the development and execution of internal and external communication plans aligned with business objectives. You will help ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and craft content such as press releases, speeches, newsletters, and digital materials.

The role requires 4–6 years in corporate communications, strong English skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional language is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management, project coordination, and content development capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Experience supporting communications for large organisations or consumer-facing brands is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of internal and external communication plans aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure consistent corporate messaging across all communication platforms.
• Develop engaging content including press releases, speeches, corporate updates, newsletters, and digital communications.
• Build and manage relationships with media representatives, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
• Drive employee communication initiatives and engagement campaigns.
• Support leadership communications and organisational change messaging.
• Plan and execute corporate events, campaigns, CSR activities, and stakeholder engagement programs.
