Job summary

FMT Media Sdn Bhd, based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, seeks a Strategic and Communications Specialist to craft corporate proposals, decks, briefs, and RFP responses. You will research trends, engage stakeholders, and ensure brand voice across materials.

You will collaborate with editorial, business development, and cross-functional teams to deliver clear, compelling messaging on time, while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Media Studies, Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English.
• Strong experience in corporate communications, strategic communications, public relations, or business writing.
• Ability to develop persuasive proposals, presentations, and executive-level communication materials.
• Strong research, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure clarity, accuracy, and quality in communication materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively with editorial, business development, and other cross-functional teams.
• Ability to engage professionally with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate communication workflows, manage revisions, and meet required deadlines.

Responsibilities

The Strategic and Communications Specialist is responsible for developing high-quality corporate and strategic communication materials, including proposals, partnership decks, stakeholder briefs, and RFP/RFQ responses. The role supports FMT's communication objectives through research, writing, editing, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with editorial, business development, and other cross-functional teams. The position is also responsible for maintaining consistency in FMT's brand voice and ensuring communication materials are clear, accurate, compelling, and delivered within the required timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-impact corporate proposals, partnership decks, stakeholder briefs, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Conduct research on media trends, audience insights, competitors, policy developments, and stakeholder expectations to strengthen communication strategies.
• Ensure consistency in FMT's brand voice by reviewing and editing all corporate communication materials for clarity, accuracy, and quality.
• Collaborate with editorial, business development, and cross-functional teams to develop strategic and compelling communications.
• Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand communication needs and deliver tailored messaging while protecting FMT's reputation.

About you
