Rubberflex Sdn Bhd seeks a detail-oriented, commercially driven Purchasing Officer (Chemist) to join our central procurement team at our Kuala Lumpur HQ. You will source, evaluate, and purchase industrial chemicals, raw materials, lab reagents, and process inputs, liaising with Mandarin-speaking suppliers across Greater China and Asia to negotiate pricing and lead times.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent spoken and written Mandarin is required to liaise with suppliers and review Chinese documentation.
• Strong working proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia for internal communications.
• Fundamental understanding of chemistry, purity grades, and technical datasheets (CoA, MSDS/SDS).
• Experience with procurement processes is a plus for fresh graduates.

Aufgaben

• Source, evaluate, and procure industrial chemicals and raw materials to meet manufacturing needs.
• Process Purchase Orders from requisition to delivery with minimal production disruption.
• Review supplier quotations against technical specs and CoA standards; manage non-conformances and claims.
• Monitor lead times, duties, duties and Incoterms, and coordinate with logistics for arrival and import compliance.
