Job summary

Palmhead Group in Sarawak, Malaysia, is seeking an Operation cum Business Development Manager to drive day-to-day operations and oversee project execution across client, business analysis, and technical teams.

You will identify new business opportunities, lead client engagements, coordinate system requirements, and manage proposals and demonstrations, with a focus on ERP and IT systems.

Diploma or degree in business/IT and at least five years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations or business development.
• Strong project management, planning, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Good communication, presentation, negotiation and client relationship management.
• Experience in IT/software or ERP/business systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth operations.
• Manage overall project timelines, meetings, deliverables and coordination between clients, BA and technical team.
• Engage with clients to understand business needs and coordinate system requirements.
• Identify new business opportunities and potential clients through research and outreach.
• Coordinate product demonstrations, presentations, proposals with technical support as needed.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and explore cross-selling opportunities.
